i bought this thinking that it was a better option rather than trying to make one. i thought that no nails would be great and it was the perfect size. once i started to put it together and the instructions weren’t even really instructions. each piece was given a letter but it wasn’t specified which letter went with which piece. the pictures showed close ups of random pieces so you couldn’t tell which piece you were supposed to attach to another. i eventually just looked at the end pic to see where the brackets were supposed to go and i started to put it together based on that. after that i realized how unstable it was. it should’ve had more brackets provided because it was crooked and wobbly. there wasn’t enough support. but i don’t know how someone could ever get the cloth tight enough with the little pieces it gave you instead of the nails. one of the black plastic pieces that are snapped into the edges of the rods was broken as well. i decided that it was better for me to return it and make my own the old fashioned way.

This is a great quality frame! I just started tufting and learning how to make rugs. I needed a decent sized frame, and I'm happy I chose this one. Can't wait to make tons of rugs with it.

It's nice enough and does the job, but it arrived with a broken cap and missing some screws. They could use more QC.

I started tufting a few days ago and wanted a fame that was sturdy and firm. I saw this one and thought that it would be good because of the good reviews it had. However, when it arrived, there were some screws missing so I had to use some of the spare ones I had and I don’t know if it’s just me but it was also difficult putting the cloth onto the frame. After all that it was not sturdy so I tightened the screws more but it was still very loose. Overall it took me a long time to assemble this thing and I did NOT have a good experience with it. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

It’s a blast to use and lets you get creative with your rug designs. Whether you’re a newbie or have tufted before.You can make all sorts of rug sizes and patterns. It’s a great way to add some personalized flair to your space.
