Very well made and comfortable. The straps are thicker than your typical suspenders. They have a braided look to them that just looks good. The clips are very strong and hold even thinner pants material. Probably going to buy a few more of them in different colors so I can snazz up my wardrobe.

Yes, I'm a belt and suspenders Boomer. And I'd finally had it with the crappy suspenders you get at WallyWorld, etc. You know the ones--they sort work for a little while, then the elastic gets stretched out and/or the clips get bent. This is after you've continually re-clipped them throughout the day when the clips slip off your jeans.Well, no more of that nonsense with these amazingly good suspenders! For the modest increase in cost over those cheap ones, you get nice, heavy, tightly woven elastic that doesn't stretch out. You also get clips that don't bend; I don't think you could physically bend them with your hands, they are very heavy duty. And, they. stay. clipped. I've only had one clip come off one time, when I caught the latch on the door frame of my vehicle when getting in. Otherwise, they just don't move.If I ever wear these out, I'll order another pair immediately. These are just that good, and I consider them to be excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

My brother loves these and he is hard to please . He has gained some weight and felt that suspenders would hold his pants up better than a belt, so I ordered these for him. He called me praising the quality and the fact that they did hold his pants up better than a belt.

I was looking for suspenders for my tool belt rigging and decided on these ones due to multiple factors. I wanted them wide enough to not dig into my shoulders and quality enough to handle the rigors working around home projects, shop tools, construction, etc. They fit the bill in both areas as the size is perfect and the worksmanship appears high end. My ONLY reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 is that other then the hardware and leather patch, the material is fully elastic. Because this will be used for a heavy tool belt I was wanting something static that wouldn't stretch out over time.I received these about a month ago, and because I live in the Pacific NW, it's been too cold, too rainy, and too much blasted snow and hail to do any outdoor projects (seriously...a couple weeks ago we hit 75 degrees on a Wednesday and 4 days later it snowed 3"). I will look to post an update in the future if I feel the elastic is durable enough for extended load carrying or if it ends up getting stretched out and funky.

These things are comfortable and built right. Love 'em.

Great suspenders and well worth the price.

Husband is 6 ft. so the suspenders are extended to fullest length. They are sturdy and the clips seem strong on his jeans. The downside is that the suspenders are made from a small looped material that snag on his watch or objects he brushes against. He likes them otherwise and would buy in an additional color.

These suspenders are well built and have a nice visual appeal, but they've got a couple of issues. For one, they're very small. Basically, if you're not a Little Person, you'll have to move the adjustment straps all the way to the bottom, down to the clasps for your pants. I found this rather odd. I'm a short guy at only 5'7", and they're almost too small for me.Secondly, on the inside of the length-adjustment clasps there is a ridge of metal which has a sharp pointy extrusion. If you wear your suspenders under your shirt like I do, this pointy bit digs into your skin and causes all manner of annoyance. Even if you wear the suspenders over a shirt, this sharp ridge will tear your shirt up over time. I had to take a file and sandpaper to mine, and that hasn't completely alleviated the problem. I can't say I recommend these, unless the adjustment clasps undergo a redesign.
