The Swiss Army knife of A/C adapters
With its adjustable DC voltage output, this is truly the only AC adapter I need when I'm in a pinch to power various home music studio equipment. The voltage is a snap to set, and it retains its setting even when unplugged from the wall for extended periods. When it comes to adapters, that's of utmost importance. A lot of people either don't know or don't bother to check adapter labels, but you should never use one that doesn't match a given device's input voltage. If you do, you're risking permanent electrical damage to your equipment. The output amperage is quite high (3000mA = 3 amps!), which should be -more- than enough current to power any device I can think of. There's no worry about device damage there, as they only draw the current required. To top it off, the wide variety of connectors supplied is really the icing on the cake. The reverse polarity cable was also absolutely essential to me, as most guitar pedals use a negative center tip. The connectors are delivered in a heavy-duty ziplock bag, keeping them organized and not easily misplaced.Without hesitation, I give this package my highest recommendation. It simply does what it claims, and considering its content and price is an almost unbelievable value. It's actually just a few bucks more than most fixed voltage/current adapters.10/5 stars, an awesome product that solves a lot of problems!

Good for general use, but too noisy for guitar equipment
Since nowadays, more and more things don't include AC adapters, I bought this as a single adapter to work with three different mini practice guitar amps -- some of which use positive polarity and some of which use negative polarity. While it technically worked, it was extremely noisy with loud humming when not touching the guitar strings, which tells me this adapter isn't grounded and/or shielded for things like this. This noise/humming does not occur when running any of the guitar amps with another AC adapter, nor with batteries.I decided to keep this adapter rather than return it, since it is still very useful for non-guitar equipment, and is otherwise fairly well-designed and easy to use. But unfortunately not good for guitar equipment (and maybe music equipment in general, but I only tried it with guitar amps).

Yahama YPG-635 LCD screen working again.
I have a Yamaha YPG-635 portable grand piano. It recently lost the right half of the LCD screen, the piano still played fine but I hated to have the screen display to be compromised. I tried to find suggestions to fixing it that I could actually do, I'm certainly not a technician. One suggestion was to purchase a new power supply cord. I didn't want to pay a lot for a cord as I doubted it would work anyway. After plugging in the new cord the LCD screen didn't reappear right away, it seemed to gradually come back to life, going in and out till it finally held. This as been several weeks now and no more problems with the LCD screen so I'm feeling confident the problem was coming from my old power cord.

Does not work
I tried using this with a multitude of devices, using a few different connectors and only one powered up, but the output did not seem to be correct because the device did not function properly. Using the same devices with batteries, they functioned as expected. So it seems the power output is not what it claims to be. On the plus side, it's not like it ruined any of my devices, it just didn't get them up and running. So, purchase with caution.

A/C works well with the Yamaha YPT-220 electronic piano.
I bought this product because I lost the original A/C adapter to my Yamaha YPT-220 electronic piano. The product has not had a single issue for months since my last purchase. I am very satisfied with this product.

Works perfect
We lost the adapter to our Yamaha digital piano during a move, and this one was promptly delivered and works great. Used it for a month so far and it's as good as the OEM one was.

For old PSR-220 Yamaha
I needed to get out my old PSR-220 to use for triggering MIDI in Presonus and the AC adapter was long gone; ordered this product as it seemed to be common to a lot of similar Yamahas. Worked just fine out of the box. The old keyboard is doing a great job with the new demands through which I am putting it!
