Smaller than standard bulb and looks very good in the pendant fixtures over the sink. Good color and just bright enough for good lighting but not so bright as to be uncomfortable. Not just for fans.

I use this product for dimmable overhead lights in the bedroom. I especially wanted dimmable bulbs, and these fit the bill well.

I was getting sick of the warm light bulbs and could not find any cool white ones in my local stores. These are perfect and cast a beautiful cool light in my home which is more soothing to my eyes. All the colors look crisp and truer than with warm lighting. I will definitely buy them again!

The bulbs flicker, even at full power. When turned off, the still emitted a small amount of light. The bulbs (4 of them in two fixtures in a hall) are on a three way circuit. I tested turning on and off all combinations of the two 3-way switches.I decided to simply run them at full power for 24 hours. After this 'burn-in' period, when turned off they stayed off. However, they still flicker at a very-very high rate - almost undetectable.I decided to keep them since they are installed in a hallway, and it is such a hassle to return themI would not purchase again
