Hazer Baba Small Cut- Assorted Turkish Delight 350g(12.25oz)

I realize it might be a bit optimistic to expect to find reasonably fresh Turkish delight in the United States,but I was genuinely disappointed with how hard these were. They were purchased mostly as a prop for my daughter's "Narnia" birthday party, but I've lived in Turkey and know what Turkish delight is supposed to taste and feel like, and it's much softer than this. That said, it was nice to find a box that didn't contain a variety with nuts and wasn't ONLY rose-flavored. Seriously, who likes the rose ones?

I should have ordered two boxes. I did not expect to like them so much. I ate them all and did not have any for my guests. Once again, I should have ordered two boxes.

I am sure that it was a personal preference issue, but these were awful. The we're soft and chewy though, not hard or dried out.

Not as soft and fresh as I would have hoped. It was however a good way to sample 3 flavors. Rose, Mint and another fruit-like flavor.

The product is fresh and taste great! It is just as I remember it tasting in Turkey. The small cut was perfect.

IF FRESH...these are AWESOME and delicious,...but if they are old...like the ones they sent me, they are shriveled squares of sadness...and to make it even more sad......you can't return them! :(

Exactly what I was looking for. Loved it!

Unfortunately they were very hard when I received them, lots of powder had escaped so I believe that was the issue. I'm sure they're great if you can get fresh ones!
