CDM Delta Wave Advanced Slide Safety for Mossberg 500/590/590A1, 835, 930, 930SPX

With a pistol grip on my Mossberg 500, I was unable to easily reach the safety on the weapon. This safety was installed with just a screwdriver in minutes and it totally changed the gun. I can easily reach the safety now where it was virtually impossible before. It's attractive and ergonomic and well built. Certainly would recommend this to anyone in my same position!

The operation of this mechanism inspires confidence it will not slip during use.

Added to a Mossberg 930 (Home Security Model) along with an enlarge bolt release pad and enlarged charging handle. I imagine that people with larger fingers or gloved hands will really appreciate this safety switch as it is quite wider than the stock safety. Also, easier to feel for the safety if you're in the dark. It has serrations that are large enough that your thumb will get a good grip onto it. All in all, a worthy upgrade to any Mossberg 500, 590 or 930 regardless of the weapon's purpose. Will be putting one on my Shockwave PDW. Easy to install and easy to use. Buy it!

Product seems well made and functions properly. Was easyish to install. However a part of the safety is made from such a thin strip of aluminum that if the gun ever fell on the back part of the safety . The bar would surely crack in half, not sure why they wouldn't have made this part thicker. Pretty serious design flaw.

I put two of these on each of my boys' shotguns. Much more surface area to provide a more sure purchase and quicker safety deactivation for dove hunting. The method I chose to remove the original plastic safety was to simply pry upward and break it off. Then used needle nosed pliers to remove the one way flathead screw. The replacement he screw is a nice bonus should I ever need to clean debris from under the safety button. Both young teenage boys can now easily and swiftly activate/deactivate the safety. Good product and excellent design.

Over many years of shooting, smithing, buying, outfitting, spending many thousands on accessories thru these many years, this is without a doubt one of the coolest and best upgrades I’ve found for any gun!!It is a 1000% improvement over the ridiculous safety that comes stock on an otherwise excellent gun (for your dollar). It is easy to install for even a novice. It gives you so much more control over an important feature and I can’t imagine why it took so long for someone to come up with this. THANK YOU!!In closing; this item is inexpensive, easy to install yourself, huge advantage in safety manipulation, useable with or without gloves... the only drawback is that I only have 2 500’s to put these on!!!

Wow, what a difference! My hands aren't very calloused, so after working the stock safety on my Mossy 500 about a dozen times my thumb would be really sore. This one is very ergonomic with a much larger surface area, so it is a dream to use.I'm pretty sue that I could move this safety on & off a couple of hundred times without raising a blister, & it's metal, not plastic.The only "downside" is that now I love shooting my shotgun so much that I'll be spending a lot more $$ on ammo ; )
