This really works
Holden states that the purpose of this video is to soothe the nervous system, and it does just that. There is conscious attention to the breath throughout as well as spinal flexion and exercises to relieve tension in the neck and back. A beautiful outdoor setting and excellent clear instruction for an all-standing workout makes this a perfect way to relieve stress. I find this type of exercise goes a long way toward managing my chronic muscle pain which comes from gripping life too hard. As an aside, I own many of Lee's earlier dvd's and was disappointed when he went totally digital which just doesn't work for me. Much praise to ymaa for picking up where "Exercise to Heal" left off to offer this new series to us technologically challenged folks who still prefer dvd's. There are two versions of "anxiety"--a 40 minute and an abbreviated 20 minute. Both are lovely and effective.

This DVD is a little box of peace!
I was thrilled to see new DVDs by Lee Holden! He's phenomenal. Nothing to memorize, no left or right to worry about, easy to follow, and such a peaceful experience set in Yosemite. I felt so calm and relaxed after doing this anxiety routine. I just bought the DVD for joints, and plan to buy a couple more of his new DVDs over the next month or two. I love that he explains the reason for the moves, and how they affect the energy flow in the body. You will love how you feel on so many levels. THANK you, Lee Holden, and YMAA for making these DVDS!

Holden QiGong for Anxiety
This is my third DVD from the Holden/YMAA offering. I was originally introduced to Holden's approach by a local instructor who had learned directly from Mr. Holden. This is an especially good one in my opinion in that it's not too short or long and is nicely constructed with warm ups before the flow. My only real suggestion would be to retitle it more like "QiGong for Stress Reduction" as opposed to "for Anxiety" since the latter seems to pigeonhole it. Either way, I think it actually works and recommend it to others !

You Take Out What You Put In
Be sure to start out with the short routine before doing the long routine unless you do Qi Gong frequently. It was done with seniors who found this DVD helpful.

This is a very calming QiGong session with Lee Holden. I definitely felt a difference after doing it. It is beautifully done and I believed is filmed in Yosemite. Love it and bought it as a gift for several friends.

Calming
I only had a little bit of anxiety, but I wanted to try qigong for reasons I won’t get into. I’ve only tried it for two days and I feel calm and at ease. That’s the best way I can think of to describe it.

Reduce Your Anxiety with Lee!
Lee Holden is a favorite of mine! Our Tai Chi/QiGong class has watched him for about three years and especially enjoy his newer DVDs. This one is a favorite of us all since it really relaxes and revives. The scenery is awesome.

Let go of your stress
I have used this short version when I need to calm down and the long version when feeling stressed out. Very effective. Highly recommend. Try the short version first. I'm not in great shape and the long version can wear me out (not always). More than once I've ended up just laughing while doing the shaking bit. Also helps my blood pressure although I also have Holden's blood pressure DVD. Thank you lee!

It helped me relax my back and neck
I had shoulder, back and neck pain and thought of doing the exercises. I felt emotional release, and my back and neck definitely felt relaxed and pain free afterwards.
