It's a doorknob / deadbolt that works with one key.Install was easy as I was replacing the previous knob after 8 years of service (the doorknob stopped receiving the key). Knob, lock and deadbolt operate easily. Durability is TBD, but I did get 8 years of service from a very similar set, so I'm hoping I'll get that much again. A nice touch was that they included 4 keys - enough for each of my Family without needing to run to the locksmith for copies.

I recently needed to replace the locks on my front door after a messy breakup. I landed on this knob and deadbolt set because it matched my door and I really liked the look. They feel a bit thin and cheap, and the handle has a little play in it, but not enough that it causes any issue. Instillation was pretty simple, and they function perfectly, so I really can't complain too much.I did notice that several people complained of the finish coming off, so before installing, I picked up a spray can of clear coat and flashed a couple light coats on them to seal the finish. So far it's worked perfectly. Zero signs of flaking or scratches after a couple months of use.

TERRIBLE quality handles. This is actually our second Amazon door knob/handle. The first one being a long handle that was constantly drooping downward no matter how much tweaking we did to it. This one is not even 6 months old and is chipping like crazy. The even crazier part is we don’t even use physical keys because we have a keyless deadbolt - so it’s not even like we’re handling the door knob with keys in our hands. The quality is just that bad. I can’t believe how awful it deteriorated in less then 6 months. Skip this one - it’ll look like garbage.

Works great the fit was a little tight but that was the door a drodhead auger too make a smooth fit seems to be a good quality I will see how long it will last.

We bought a house and didn't get a key for the back door, so I decided to buy this set because it was a third of the price of a locksmith's service call alone. The handle on this also locks, whereas the old one didn't, so now we have an extra layer of security. Install was incredibly easy, so I'm not sure what other reviewers were complaining about... And my only experience with changing door hardware is installing August smart locks and repeatedly fixing the same cheap handle that kept falling off my old door. The only hiccup I ran into was getting the deadbolt direction right. When you put the interior part on, you need to make sure the locking tab is turned to match the lock state of the deadbolt. (You'll know you've done it wrong if you can only lock it from the outside with the key. Just take it off, flip the tab, and put it back on.)The reason I'm docking some stars is because the quality is really not great. There is a ton of play with the deadbolt's locking tab thing and the finish scratches very easily. I knew scratching was an issue going in, so I was very careful, but still scratched it slightly while tightening the screws. It's not very noticable, but still kind of a bummer. I can't complain too much because the price of this thing is just unbeatable, and it does look great on my door, but I do not expect it to last for very long. I would not recommend it for a front door or any high-traffic area where it's going to sustain a lot of wear. It has that cheap, un-smooth feeling when you turn the handle or locking mechanisms and given my experience with a previous cheap door handle falling off all the time (which leaves a big old hole in your door), I do not trust it completely for security purposes. I fortunately have several other burglary deterrents at this door (cameras, lights, etc.) but I might have returned it if I didn't.
