EternaBond saves the day
I recently had a leak in the rubber roof of my RV and decided to try the EternaBond White Mobile Home RV Rubber Roof Repair tape, and I am very happy with the results. The tape is very easy to apply and adheres well to the rubber roof. It is also very durable and has held up well to extreme temperatures and weather conditions. The tape is specifically designed for use on RVs and mobile homes, which gave me confidence that it would provide a long-lasting and reliable fix.The 4" x 10' roll provides plenty of tape to cover a decent-sized area, and I like that it can be easily cut to size with scissors. The white color of the tape also blends well with the color of my RV roof, making it practically invisible.Overall, I am very satisfied with the EternaBond White Mobile Home RV Rubber Roof Repair tape. It has provided a quick and effective solution to my roof leak and has saved me a lot of time and money compared to replacing the entire roof. If you are in need of a reliable and easy-to-use RV roof repair solution, I highly recommend this product.

Amazing quality
This stuff is amazing. Used 4 years ago when installing a maxx fan to my campervan roof and it’s still going strong. Bought this time for solar project. Worth every penny.

A Great Product That Solved Our Tough RV Roof Repair Problem With Ease
I found this tape is an excellent solution to repair holes or tears in the rubber membrane roof covering of our travel trailer. I have tried other caulking materials with only fair results. When we got a bad tear after driving the trailer under a low-hanging branch at the campground, I repaired the tear with this tape. Is was so impressed with it that I ordered more to replace the caulking seal on the ends of the roof where it meets the aluminum siding. I'd twice had leaks in this area. After re-sealing with this tape, all is nice and dry. This tape is about the most sticky stuff I've ever worked with, but the adhesion is not fully activated until pressure is applied. This makes it a little easily to work with than the world's most sticky material. You peel the clear film off the gray side of the tape to expose the adhesive putty. When applying, know first that any air bubbles that get trapped under the tape cannot be pushed out - that's how strong the adhesion. Before application, I scrubbed the area with acetone on a rag. When applying to anything but a tiny area, I found that it works very well to have another person align the long piece of tape while I would slowly peel away the clear film and simultaneously applied pressure in a way to assure all of the air is forced out from under the tape. When applied, the go over the tape with any kind of pressure. The pressure can be hand pressure, or a roller, but a small roller is very handy for large seams. If you repair area is larger than 3 inches wide, just overlap successive strips of tape with 1 inch of overlap. This tape sticks well to Dicor lap sealant caulk, but you can get a smoother result by removing most of the old caulking material. I removed a thick layer of old caulk with by careful application of a wire brush spinning in a 4-inch hand grinder. The wire brush didn't seem to damage the rubber membrane when used with care. This tape will not stick to silicone, so any seams or joints previously repaired with silicone caulk need to be cleaned carefully of the old silicone.I think this tape would be great for seams in many devices or constructions that you wanted to make water-proof.

here's what I did around my old antenna housing + updated review on corner seams
Note: after a little bit working with Eternabond, I'm finding it extremely helpful. I make a number of mistakes in my application below. I use way too much here, too many layers, and I am not using the Eternaprime, which does turn out to be very helpful for priming the surface. This is what I'm doing with the Eternabond. My disclaimer is that all I've done is watch some youtube videos and the official Eternabond video and otherwise I have no experience with RV repair. But I recently bought a 1999 travel trailer, a Northwood Nash and although it has a rubber roof in very excellent condition and appears to have almost never been used and stored mostly inside and also appears to be well constructed by Northwood Manufacturing, I still see that it is a 1999 roof and looking to expire in some places relatively soon. There are no signs of existing or previous leaks but some things are pretty worn so I am trying to be proactive.I have started slow and I'll update this with time because I think only time will tell obviously if this product works because anything can make a seal for a season or so so to the pictures ...In this one picture here I went all around the old obsolete metal roof antenna. In that other picture you can see that the old butyl putty or RV putty or proflex or whatever was used around this antenna has totally expired and actually peeled right up to the touch exposing this housing for this ridiculous metal TV antenna. Not ideal for Eternabond because everyone says you should only use Eternabond on "flat" surfaces but it turns out there is actually no such thing as a flat surface. Also, Eternabond has instructions for what to do on corners and when "tenting" occurs and I will get into that also.Eternabond has a youtube video where some guy is putting eternabond on an RV pretty fast but one thing he is doing is not using the roller thing, he is using his fingers so therefore I also used my fingers to apply the pressure to activate the microseal. I found that using my fingers, I was able to more easily identify, eliminate, or if necessary, lance air bubbles with my boxcutter type knife. (The guy in the Eternabond is also using a box cutter type knife and it does make some things easier although I did pre-cut my pieces using a sharp pair of scissors.)I did end up using way too much tape, I probably could have used at least half the tape but nobody really tells you how to use this stuff. I quickly learned that having a very sharp and pointy knife available was important to lance the bubbles and at places like 90 degree seams, if you need to lance it, you can just lance it, spread it, and apply another layer over where it has been lance. The microsealant seals to itself. It also seemed to be important to just let it drape down and then apply the pressure from the middle out after the tape has been laid. As I move my fingers applying pressure I lance any air bubbles that appear.I don't imagine it as applying tape but as applying a putty microsealant with a white tape on top.I have researched that I could use something like Dicor self-leveling lap sealant but it appears to me that this kind of caulking sealant has already been used on my trailer and that it is deteriorating and it also looks quite difficult to work with.I ordered more so I can proactively do my front and rear roof seams and some other dodgy areas that again look like something like that Dicor caulking would just be overkill. These things are made like toys. I can't believe what the RV industry gets away with. If houses were made like this, people would go to jail. Also, here is my review of how I used this on my corner seams with pictures:https://www.amazon.com/gp/review/R1MYD6HPXHAQCF?ref_=glimp_1rv_cl

This the best product
I recently fitted a 350 watt flexible solar panel to the roof of our caravan so compliment my 200 watt fixed one. After some research I noted that the best way was to use internabond tape. It sticks really well. Just got home from our fist road trip and the solar panel has not moved, very impressed with this product
