Love them they don’t tangle

I have a small dog (13 pounds) and recently adopted a larger dog (40 pounds). The small dog is used to pulling a bit on her leash. The big dog is pretty good on walks, but will pull if you let him. On a non-stretching leash, he's really well behaved, because if I just keep my arm still by my side, he knows not to pull anymore.HOWEVER, with this bungee leash, that extra 15 inches of stretching really allow him to pull a lot more than he would've, because even if I keep my arm still, he can tug 15 inches forward, if he wasn't straining the bungee portion before. Also, because of the bungee, both dogs sometimes get bounced into each other, when they've reached the end of the line, and aren't expecting the bungee to stop stretching.Overall, it's a pretty decent product, and the swiveling does make it a lot easier to walk two dogs at once, as opposed to juggling two leashes. But, if your dogs are not perfectly behaved, loose-leash walkers, I'd probably recommend the non-bungee leash, as you have more control over their movement. I'm mildly afraid that the smaller one will walk into traffic if I stand too close to the curb (she's not the brightest bulb).

We lost our original dual leash and decided to order a new one before our spring break family vacation. This one is really nice! The color (red) is true to the picture, as is the rest of the components of the leash and water bowl. The soft grip handle that rolls makes it so much easier on the hand. It's also nice to be able to detach one of the leashes if needed. I didn't think we needed the water bowl, but when I offered the dogs a drink after their stop our little guy and gal (2 Chihuahua mixes) drank it dry. It doesn't come with a plastic bag holder, but once the holder runs out I resort to carrying plastic bags for clean up duty anyway. It's not a factor for me.

I use this two dog leash set up to run my dogs with an ATV, using harnesses on both dogs. That's where the sturdiness really shows, because the harnesses encourage the the dogs to pull. One dog is a hard puller, the other is not as industrious, so the tension is distributed from the dogs to the four wheeler,but also, sometimes, between the two dogs. It has held up well. The stitching is intact and there is no sign of tearing.

I am not a big review writer, even though I spend a fortune on Amazon - but this thing is amazing! I wondered when it came in if it would be too short, but after several long walks, I decided it is perfect. They do not get tangled and have learned quickly how to stay beside each other. Makes our walks to much nicer and I am happier when we finish instead of annoyed by trying to wrangle 2 dogs on different leashes. I love the bungee material and it helps my energetic goldendoodle let off a little more energy. I snapped by bag holder to it and that is all we need for some good exercise. Great product!

Works like a charm. No more trying to juggle two separate leashes while walking our two dogs at the same time. The stretch in the double leash is just enough so that the dogs don't yank each other around, but not so much that it poses a danger of the leash being too long. It also detaches from the single leash handle so that you can attach whatever leash you want to it. I haven't had it long enough to really judge durability but it seems well made so I would expect it to be durable. Definitely glad I made this purchase.

Really good idea. I have a 11 pound Maltipoo and a 5 pound new puppy. They each want to go in different directions. So far it has held up (had for one week).I do think it’s really good for medium to large dogs because it is quite heavy. My little babies tend to tier easily with the weight if the leash.Would recommend based on my one week use.

I gave a 3 to durability since I have only had it for 1 week. So far I like it. I'm not constantly detangling the leashes. I live the bowel, except I have a suggestion. If a place can be made on the leash to hook up the bowel, and just a tap bigger. Otherwise, the bowel has worked out great.
