I bought these for each grandfather this year. They we made the stones together and also made an hand/foot imprint from my 14 month old. This was a huge it. It was very easy to do, the directions were very clear, and not much to clean up as we went. Both grandfathers got really into designing their mosaic around my daughters imprint. And now they have this great memory along with an adorable stone in their gardens. It was so great I immediately had to buy one for us to do at home because I wanted one too. One important note— like other reviews say we did not wait an hour before doing the imprint other wise it would have been too hard. Also I used Vaseline in my daughters foot the second time around and that made cleanup even easier.

The cement is all one color and dries a nice light solid color, this is great so that you can very clearly see any imprints you leave on the stone (like the handprint we put on). Other ones we’ve tried elsewhere have dried with color inconsistencies, so we’re very pleased with this!Instructions were easy to follow and the blue glass pieces were beautiful to add design elements. I likely will order more!

I was searching for a stepping stone that I could use for my sons handprint and after reading the reviews I purchased this item. It by FAR exceeded my expectations! It was so easy to make, and it turned out wonderful.Suggestions:Only wait 20 min if doing a handprint. I waited 23 min and it was very hard to get his little hand print to show up and I had to fix most of it. The concrete was too hard already at this point.I painted the inside of his hand, added glitter, and painted inside of his name to make it stand out! It looks amazing!Overall, HIGHLY suggest this!

I purchased this for my 8 year old and 4 year old to do. They both really enjoyed the project. It was super easy to do and came with all the materials needed. I placed the finished product in my landscaping as stepping stones. They have been out in the weather for a few months now and look just as they did when I put them there.

Final product turned out great. We followed the instructions but I would say the wait time is off. We did the footprint immediately. No waiting. So be mindful of the instructions but use your best judgment as well. The glass pieces we received were pretty large so I placed them in a towel and tapped lightly with a hammer. Overall we had a good time and enjoy the final project.As another reviewer said the stone is pretty small. My kiddo is only one and his foot took up most of it.Hopefully it is durable.

Perfect for gifting to grandparents with a handprint stone. Directions stated to press hand into cement after 1 hour, well I did it after about 25 minutes and could hardly make an decent hand impression. I had to push really hard on my kids hands, but I got it to work. After adding the fun glass pieces around, there isn't room to label, but I would still give it a 5. Loved the outcome. Added a few of our own stones too.

This is a nice mosaic kit. Only complaint is that the bag for mixing the cement had a little hole in it. Had to use another container to mix, but other than that it is easy to make and turned out nice
