I bought this as I have curly hair and want to grow it long. I have been researching and found that a heat cap used in conjunction with a rosemary oil mask can help with this. While I cannot speak of the growth results yet, having this heated cap on at the same time as my hair mask feels very very relaxing and luxurious. It heats up in about 40 seconds in the microwave and stays warm for about 30 mins. It's quite heavy on the head which is the only con, but that is to be expected.

This heat cap is just fabulous, easy to use, it really made my afro hair so soft I put in the microwave a couple of times which was no trouble for me, it stayed warm for about 15 mins each time. It has some weight to it but not heavy. My granddaughter also used it and she rates it too. The addition of 10 plastic caps in the box is a nice bonus. The cap is a good size I think it will fit any size head. I just wish I had known about these heat caps earlier I found out about them on You Tube and opted for this one because of the excellent reviews. Go ahead and purchase you will not be disappointed, if you are looking for heat to boost your deep condition whilst you go about your everyday business in the home, this is the one for you. Enjoy!!

I have purchased the heat cap to use with my weekly deep conditioning treatment. I just pop it in the microwave for 30 sec each side and voila! it holds the heat for about 15 min, and then I pop it back for another 30sec, depending how long do you leave your treatment on.

This is absolutely fantastic and it’s really helped me to improve the condition of my hair. I use it once a week at least after applying a hair treatment. You pop it into the microwave to heat up and then just pop it on top of your head. it’s just brilliant and I would definitely repurchase.

If you get conditioner on the cap you can't wash it off. Scared to over heat the cap in microwave so it's never really hot on your hair but just warm. I put it in for 30secs on each side periodically until 2-3mins on each side. But you might have to reheat it after 15mins.

Brilliant. Have been using it to deep condition my hair. It can be a tad heavy on your head but would buy again.

The band on the cap is very tight and not stretchy at all, very uncomfortable
