They are from the perspective of a homeowner who has better than average "fix-it" skills and can easily identify shortcomings of a product and functionality for how the product will be used in most cases. Keep this in mind when you read the review.DELIVERY: Amazon shines again. One and one half days from "click to doorstep".PACKAGING: Well packaged with plenty of packing, bagged and all parts in small zip-lock bag.PRICE: Very comparable to similar products in HD and LW's. (Big box hardware stores)USE: There are many shop lights available, but LED is the way to go. I liked this unit as it was 36"compared to the typical 48" unit, as the latter was just too long for what I needed.INSTALLATION: I installed it in my garage/shed that has an unfinished roof with joists exposed. Two(2) screws,two(2) plastic coated wire hangers, two(2) hooks (all included) and 33" spacing for holes in unit. Itwas a breeze to install. Plug is a simple two-prong 110v and I already had a ceiling mountedreceptacle. Cord was plenty long to reach. Installation was a snap!OPERATION: Simple pull chain (included) is exactly what I wanted as my electric supply is not switch controlled.BRIGHTNESS: All I can say is WOW! This light after mounting illuminated my entire 12' x 16" garage/shedbeyond my expectations. I do not go out there often after dark, but when I do, I'll know that I'll nolonger need to take along a flashlight (I have a set of bench lights that are OK, but only illuminateworkbench.) This new light is fantastic on brightness.CONCLUSION: You can buy this product with confidence. No bulbs to replace, easy to install, easy to operate andgreat lighting.NOTE: This review does NOT include longevity. The mfgr indicates 15,000 hours, so the light should last1.7 years if left on 24 hrs a day.

well, it's just the right size. one bulb is OK. fits my need perfectly and it's inexpensive. problem was that item lasted only 2-1/2 years or so. first one was purch in Jan 22 and I just replaced it in Sep 24. had to put strip of wood on the front side so light was not right in my eyes. having done that and this LED light not being replaceable, when it quit after a couple of years, I just got another, mounted the piece of wood, and threw a way what was left. should be good for another couple of years. at less than $30, it's just another expendable LED light that that is better than the previous fluorescent fixture I had before. positive review!

Like others have mentioned, plenty bright. Only 3 ft long vs standard 4 ft shop light, but that could be positive or negative. The light is a little towards the warmer side which is also fine, but the biggest con against this light is the large amount of electromagnetic interference. In my shop I have lost the ability to pick up most radio channels that were clear before. Strong channels still come through fine. I am concerned that cheap engineering of this project, or poor quality components are the driver for this, and neither of those things leads me to believe this light will last long term. For the price point I still have to give it 4 stars though, assuming it lasts a few years. I will update my review if it dies quickly.

When I first opened the box I was really questioning my choice. This thing is light as a feather. It's super bright I used it in my office as an overhead light it worked great.The negatives is that it DOES NOT come with S hooks. You will need to buy them or do what I did I used 2 screws positioned "34 1/8th apart and slid the light in place. While it did work for now I also ordered the s hooks. The other thing is that the screws (useless to me I used 3' drywall screws) and cables they supply are in a clear bag taped to the other clear bag. It's east to miss and throw out.All in all great light I am going to get a few more. I just hope they last awhile

Bought one of these in June last year to replace a 4' fluorescent strip light in the garage. Was easy to hang, with several options and included hardware. It works good so far and is brighter than the flour was. I just got another one yesterday to replace another 4' fluorescent strip light. Because the ballast was failing like they always do eventually. These are simple plug in lights worth the money.

PRO'S:I'm very happy with this this light. It arrived very well protected and packed in its own box which was inside an Amazon box so A+ for packaging. It was very easy to install and it gives various install options that will satisfy most peoples install needs. It puts out a very clean bright white light and lights just as good or better than my old florescent lights. This light fixture has a cord to plug into a 110v receptacle so no wiring needed. On/off is instant via a chain pull switch at one end of the light. There is a very convenient 110v plug on the other side if needed. No waiting for warmup like my old florescent lights. I would think it will save a little on power also but that is just my opinion. These are just some of the pro's I've found and I'm sure there are others I've missed.CONS:The only cons I can think of would be the overall lifetime of the LED's, on/off switch and the light housing in general.

I had an old closet light that was dim as could be and decided to replace it while we were redoing the closet. This easily spans the interior of my standard-sized bedroom closet and is so bright that everything is easy to see without having to maneuver it into the light. Installing it took about 15 minutes, and I've been using it for over six months. No complaints at all.

I have a work bench in a storage area of my garage. The work bench is 6’ wide and 3’ deep. This shop light is hanging about 3’ above the surface of the workbench and provides the perfect amount of light to get my DIY projects done. Easy to mount, sturdy, and energy efficient.
