The otoskop light bulb is placed in a way so it partly blocks the view. The light source in the ophthalmoscope has a blue led light that don’t work if you want to check red reflex/fundus reflex.

For the price, this is a good piece of equipment. The handle is solidly built. Some of the attachments are difficult to connect, but overall works well

Update: 1/28/2024Very pleased with the seller and my experience with Amazon. Amazon shipped me a new product with all the parts shown in the picture. After showing the product to my wife, she was very pleased. Also, I was told that the previous product that was shipped need not be returned. Very happy with the expedient response and resolution with the issue. 5 stars experience.Update:I had ordered this product for my wife who is a nurse practitioner student. When she started examining the kit, she noticed that the replacement tips were missing. Although I had written a raving review upon initial receipt, I was unaware of the missing part. Therefore I updated my overal rating of this product from 5-star to 1-star based on this incident.

The media could not be loaded. I decided to purchase the Cynamed 2-n-1 Ear Scope Diagnostic Set because the kids seem to always complain about their ears. They have a history of ear infections. I figured this diagnostic tool would come in handy & help save us money on doctors visits. I was right. Not long after it arrived, one of the kids came to me complaining about their ears. Normally, I would have taken them to the doctor right away. However, I was able to use the ear scope & determine they did not need to go.If you have kids, I recommend getting your hands on this tool. It definitely comes in handy.

The light is good for looking in the ears. I just wished more disposable ear pieces came with it.
