I was pleasantly surprised that my package was delivered one week after I placed and paid for my order instead of two weeks as originally indicated (I am on the other side of the globe). Many thanks to all those who made the fast delivery possible. I am an amateur at knife sharpening, but this excellent tool helped me to turn out sharp blades at the first try. Incredible! It is obviously well-designed and well-crafted, robust but light, which makes for portability, and its utter simplicity greatly contributes to ease of use. By my standard, it isn’t cheap, but I consider it’s worth every cent I paid for it. So, yes, I definitely highly recommend this tool.

Great sharpener for a quick sharpen. Works extremely well. I have several knife sharpenersThe Works Ken Onion sharpener. The whole Lansky set, two or three nice stones, but sometime you just need a open the kitchen drawer, grad a sharpener and sharpen a knife. This one fits the bill. Knives come off EXTREAMLY sharp. These type of sharpeners tend to get a bad rap because people don't know how to use them. Just rest the knife in the slot and pull back, The weight of the knife is all that's needed. No need to push down on the knife, That may effect the geometry and mess up the angle of the edge. Thus leaving you a dull knife.

Best sharpener I ever owned. Easy to use, even made my cheapie chinese junk slicing like new. Even better than factory edges. Service was excellent speedy delivery.

This sharpener works great for both minor blade damage and for a final fine edge sharpening. I have not tried the scissor option yet. One piece of advice is when you pull the blade through the tool make sure the toll stays flat on a hard level surface. If it “Rocks” of the flat surface it won’t sharpen the blade as well. It has a nice grip pad on the bottom of it that helps it stay flat as long as you put some pressure down on it. Has multiple angles for different edges.

This works really well! I rarely write a review here on Amazon, but I am so happy to finally have a tool to have my scissors and knives really sharp. Some others may be cheaper and do a similar job. This to me is worth it.

This sharpener does an okay job, but certainly nothing to write home about. It being called "RazorSharp" is of course ridiculous.

So I learned to sharpen knives a few different ways over the years. Sharpening stones and honing oil are amazing if you have the time and the patience to learn to hold knife at the right angle, and learn the right pressure, and know when to switch to the next stone. We will not even get into grinders and polishers.But what if you are a normal household where you want to dependably sharpen your kitchen knives and or pocket knives to a nice useful edge? I have owned three or four similar style countertop sharpeners like this, and this is the first one I would recommend to others. I like the adjustable angles to create or repair your blade edge and finish it to a smooth and very sharp finish correct for your knife. Will it make it truly "razor sharp"? In most cases probably not, but if you spend a bit of time with the sharpener and learn how to use it, you can get it pretty close. I will say that it noticeably improved the quality and the cut of all of my kitchen knives and two of field knives with little to no actual effort. Will I be able to shave with any of them, no. But why would i want to?If you are looking for a simple to use sharpener to help you get most out of your household knives, this will probably suit your needs. If you are looking for something to make you a professional knife sharpener for a new career, you probably should look elsewhere.

I am very impressed with this product. It is well made, and it has worked well to sharpen our knives. The design makes it easy to use, with the adjustable angle dial and the holding handle that allows you to hold the sharpener securely. The knife sharpening stage works well and is a good addition to the product. It has a good storage case. I am very pleased with the price and performance.
