Great piece of engineering
I live around 6,000 ft/1830 m above sea level, so boiling anything takes a long time.So I use pressure cookers. This is my second Hawkins. It a great piece of engineering.Like all great pieces of engineering, it simple, unlike insta-pots with all those easy to break and complex pieces.Cooking and canning is a snap. Highly recommended.

THE POT ITSELF IS GOOD IS HEAVY, BUT THE LID IS CHEAPLY MADE, WITH EVEN CHEAPER METAL, EVERY TIME I WANT TO USE THIS PRODUCT IT TAKES OVER 5 MINUTES TO ADJUST THE LID TO STAY IN THE CORRECT POSITION.I HAVE USED A PURSER COOKER FOR MANY YEARS. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE STEAMER ON THE LID JUST BLOW OUT STEEM FROM THE POT, DANGERS IF ONE STAY TO CLOSE TO THE POT MIGHT GET CUT EITH STEEM
