Arrived next day with prime, was exactly as expected with 0 problems.

This does not work on the 2002 R53
Having taken this to two auto electricians at a cost of over £200 the last one contacted BMW who stated BMW are the only people who can code keys to my model R53. It has taken 32 days to get to this point so annoyingly missed the returns window. The car has had 2 new parts (RF receiver and BC1) and has been recoded several times but evidence shows its getting to the BC1 and not coming out to trigger central locking. This should be listed as a risk. Not sure if these work on older minis either but certainly do not on 2002 R53

Circuit board incorrect
For the lock and unlock buttons to be in the correct place the circuit board must be as per the above photo however due to the transponder and casing you cannot close the case fully, making the item useless , they were lucky to get one star since I had to cut the key cut to try and programme the key to the ignition
