Thermabeads can save you a lot of money!
I've used thermabeads for my upper front gap & 2 lower gaps for many years now. It does take practice, but, they are reusable. I take them out at night & put them in a solution of hydrogen peroxide to keep them clean. Do not eat anything that's hard to chew because it will dislodge them. 1 or 2 beads are usually enough to make 1 tooth. They will begin to stain(coffee/tea etc)after a few weeks, so, you can easily make a new tooth when necessary. Improved my smile greatly without costing a fortune. 😉

It'll work in a pinch
These pellets are a little difficult to work with. And maybe once you kind of master them a little bit, maybe they'll work better, um, and yeah, they do resemble a tooth once dried. So in a pinch that would probably work as long as nobody got really close to you

Be Careful with these!!!!!!
I have tried the temp tooth brand and had no problems. Tried these at a lower cost and oh no grrrr the got stuck and no amount of drinking hot water would loosen them. Pain. Embarrassment. You know all that. Just be careful really.

If the surface is too smooth material can’t adhere
Is very difficult to keep in place when filling in for Cedric crowns

Tooth repair
I have used several other thermoplastic modeling beads for tooth repair. These prove to be more realistic, easier to mold and fits more secure. These so far are my top choice. The others I have tried work ok for glue and modeling projects.

Good temporary fix for a missing or cracked tooth or temporary crown
I had a temporary crown that spanned three teeth, filling in for a missing tooth in the middle. The temp came loose and a part of it cracked off. I used Fixodent to re-adhere the temp, but it was not secure because of the missing part and it left a gap in the front of my mouth. This stuff is basically low temp hot melt. Heat a teaspoon of the tiny white pellets in hot water (I used the microwave to heat it faster). The pellets turn clear and gooey. Lift out a small bit with a metal spoon and use it as a putty around the tooth (be sure your tooth is clean and dry). You have to play with it a little. When it dries it blends in nicely. This fix lasts 24 hours. You will have to redo it once a day. Not the same as a permanent fix, but it's a stop-gap to help you through a social situation without looking like a pumpkin-person! I'm keeping a stash on hand for emergencies. I gave it 4 stars because you can't eat apples or chew taffy. Sourdough is off the menu. It's cosmetic, you have to be careful.

Must have first aide kit item
I’ll start with, the removal at the dentist office was not funBut! I cracked my temporary crown, while on a cruise. When I returned I used this for the 2 weeks it took to me get to the dentist. The first Two times I used it, it came out easily. It was a little bigger than the chipped tooth, and I was able to kinda pull it up, with a bit of leverage. The last time I used it, I had the bright idea to make it thinner so I wouldn’t keep feeling it in my mouth, and messing with it, with my tongue all the time. This worked, but it was not easy for the dentist to file out, when it was chair time. You only need 8-10 beads. They melt easily. Mold easy and apply easy. My suggestion is to make it a little larger than you need, so self removal isn’t so difficult. And for the most part they stayed in place until I removed it. No shifting, it did turn yellow after a week to so, but no damage to my teeth. This is a list have for a first aide kit

WORKS GREAT
My flipper broke and could not be repaired. My dentist was still waiting on a driver for a special screw to put my permanent front tooth in. All of this was expected first week of November and the flipper lasted almost a year. When the flipper broke- I got on Amazon and ordered these beads-amazon delivered the next day and thank god for that. I put beads in hot water, waited for them to turn translucent, rolled into a cylinder, pressed into missing tooth space- flattened back and above tooth. OMG -I used way too much - so now I am desperate to remove it. NOTHING WOULD WORK TO GET IT OFF-SO NOW I AM IN ANOTHER PANIC. Long story short- my flosser filled with hot water softened it enough to remove it. So just use a little at a time. Great product if you don't use too much.
