I really like this router.This is a great router kit for those smaller jobs where you want to use something smaller and lighter than a full size router, or need to take something smaller and lighter with you.The kit is pretty comprehensive. containing the router and the essential accessories, and a really useful bit set. The router uses 1/4 inch bits, so if you need additional bits they are easy to get. The router comes in its own case, and the bit set comes in a separate wooden box.I tried the router out with some pine, as it was all I had to hand and it worked well. It did take a bit of working out to attach some of the accessories, like the guides, but setting up the depth of the routing was quite easy to do. The bits worked well, and the ones with the bearing roller on the bottom were easy to use and set up, and gave great results. I would have liked to see a guide bush in the kit or a bit with a top mounted roller bearing to make using the router with a template or jig easier for some of the things I was doing, but as I said, they are available separately.I personally found the power cable to be a little too short for my tastes though. I dont have a workshop so I have to set up workspaces outdoors and a longer power cable would have helped me a lot with doing this.Overall, this is a really nifty compact router and router bit set, and works great for those moments where you have to do a bit of trimming, champfering edges or just need a smaller router.

I've worked in machine shops for years and there's nothing resembling instructions for use with it. It does function but they need to produce instructions on how to assemble bits.
