Underactive Thyroid Testing Kit, TSH Blood Tests for Hypothyroidism One Step (2 Test)

I like that there are 2 tests in the pack. Mine both tested negative so am holding off going to the doctors at the moment. Will test again in a few months if I feel no improvement.

Iv been feeling pretty awful for months, came across an information leaflet about low thyroid, and felt like that was me. Thought I’d buy a home test before going to gp, got a faint positive twice so has given me the nudge to go be seen

Been having a few health problems so wanted to rule it out. Previous blood test showed my levels were fine and the test confirmed that.How accurate it is I don’t know, but have another blood test this week anyway so will update if it was wrong.I found it very easy to use

One time the capillary action worked, had to do two rounds to get up to the line. second time the capillary action didn’t work at all despite several attempts and eventually had to give up, so second kit couldn’t be used.

I am being treated for hypothyroidism with a high TSH of 24.5 tested on 09/12/2. I thought these tests would give a quick, cheap and simple way track when my TSH had reduced to normal range of below 5. I took the test on the same day as I had a NHS blood test 22/12/21. This quick test showed negative and so indicated a TSH below 5 indicating not being hypothyroid, being surprised that my TSH could have had reduced so quickly I used the second test and it again showed negative, TSH < 5. My NHS blood test from the same day was returned a day later and showed I was still hypothyroid with a TSH of 10.4, way above the cut off of 5 for these tests. 100% failure of these tests to accurately indicate TSH above 5.

Still waiting on an appointment with the GP to confirm but having something to go off makes me feel a little less crazy. Will update if it turns out to be a false positive.Update: Blood Test results back: TSH reading came back at 150.Good test. Helpful.

Easy to use got 2 faint positives just waiting on blood test from doctors to confirm, will update. Although doctor did tell me not to trust tests like these as they wouldn't be certified and probably wouldn't work.

Extremely easy to use (though pricked fingers always hurts a few days later) I don't know the accuracy but happy with product
