It broke and didn't remove the target nut
I liked that it uses a Makita battery of which have three. It looked good and sounded good when I got it. I bought it to remove a CV axle nut on a Dakota. It didn't. I kept hammering it, hoping. Never budged it, but the socket stopped turning and the hammer noise changed. I tried reverse and it worked, but not forward.I stopped and found that front half was separated from the rear half. 4 metric Allen screws. One was on the floor and the other three were about 1/4" loose. I tightened them and forward worked. It did sound different, and I suspect the gear train is damaged.I returned it.

Works in a pinch
This is a good budget option to have in a pinch, such as being stuck on the road with a flat tire. But I don’t think it’s durable enough for more frequent use, such as in a workshop. There’s a quality difference between this and a regular brand name Impact Wrench. It doesn’t operate as smoothly, and the materials used are more lightweight in comparison. For instance, I weighed the tool (without battery) at 5 pounds 3.2 ounces, whereas my similarly sized Milwaukee FUEL weighs 6 pounds 4.5 ounces. It doesn’t come with a battery, but it does work with all my 18v Makita batteries. Both brand name and third-party options. It doesn’t come with a case, unfortunately, which makes storing and transporting less convenient. While it’s designed to fit the Makita look, there is a difference in the blue coloring. The blue on this ConBlom is more of a dark blue whereas Makita contains some green to give it a slight teal'ish tint. Still, it does match well enough for a generic option. There is a light near the trigger, which helps if you are changing a tire at night. You can switch the mode on the device. I thought there was something wrong with the tool at first since it auto-stopped in reverse. Thankfully clicking the mode button allowed it to fully spin.Overall, this is a good budget option to have with you on a road trip. But I would not expect it to hold up with frequent use.

The forward and reverse selector doesn't work as it should.
I thought this 3/4" impact would be good tool to have on hand for projects. So far I haven't had the need to use it on any extra heavy projects but on standard size lug nuts and bolts on my truck it seems to work ok. The mode selector to change the speeds seems to work fine but the forward/reverse selector behind the trigger doesn't work right. It seems to work ok when moving toward the forward drive but when moving into reverse it almost always sticks in between lock and reverse and the impact won't run. If I spend some time playing with the switch I have eventually been able to get it into reverse. I'm not sure why it's doing that but I know something isn't right.
