These are Fantastic!
I'm impressed with how HIGH-QUALITY these snap-cap, 38 Special-dummy bullets, feel. They feel quite weighty, well-made, and look Great! They fit my Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 38-Special revolver, as well as my Airsoft Smith & Wesson TRR8/R8 toy-revolver, both Perfectly. These are just excellent, 38-special replica, Snap-Caps.

They cycle through just fine with no problem. Great tool to practice reloading.

Some fixable flaws
My biggest issue is the removable orange bullet piece. It seems to love to back out and cause malfunctions. Overall these can be hard to eject and it certainly doesn’t help. Have tried using threadlocker to tighten them down and may super glue in place.Good for the money with good quality and weight.Unsure how the rubber replacement process will be down the line.

Do not buy for .22 Mag - they do not chamber!
Original Review, 20APR2025: 1 StarDoes not fit well. Also, most showed tool marks (lathe) which also make them hard to get into chamber or out!Revised Review, 30JUN2025: 5 StarsAfter returning original order, GORTAR customer service contacted me and sent new dummy rounds with different materials they were testing for the back to absorb the firing pin strikes. The new ones were smooth and did not show the rings from the lathe this time. I tested each material and found the following:- TPE + LDPE: worst. Always hang up on at least the first round of the magazine, and material torn up bad from drill firing only 1 time each (cycled several times without firing, but, as stated previously, hang up a lot).- Original orange: better than previously and TPE + LDPE. Occasionally hang up, usually first round, but sometimes other times while cycling. Took firing pin strikes pretty well.- TPU: best. No hang ups. Took firing pin strikes the best. Recommend this material for future dummy rounds and keeping the metal smooth.

Good dummy rounds for drills and dry fire practice.
These 12 gauge dummy rounds are excellent. They are weighted to act and feel like real rounds. They feed and eject properly and are well made and tough enough to use for drills without showing wear. The rubber primer fillers are tough too and look like they will last a long time. Good product.

Did exactly what I needed them to.
Took these out of the package and they went right into a lever gun, allowing me to safely practice loading and operating the gun at home. They also have a rubber backing where the primer would be to protect your hammer in an older rifle. The plastic is durable and the rounds are the exact size of the actual rounds.
