The media could not be loaded. Some weeks ago, I utilized this product on my little wooded property in the hopes of attracting more deer while keeping a constant feeding schedule. I was successful in doing both of these things. As soon as I took it out of the package, I was impressed by how small and lightweight this feeder kit is, which worked out quite well for the area that I had available. It is my opinion that the movable arms are a really thoughtful addition since they enable you to place the spinner mechanism in a manner that is most suitable for your particular configuration. A digital timer is another thing that I am thankful for since it has provided me with the ability to accurately manage the times at which I feed my child, rather than having to depend on guessing. I immediately saw that the deer were coming to the same location on a regular basis, which is because the spinner distributes the meal in a very uniform manner. That degree of dependability made me delighted, particularly since I intended to attract the local fauna for the purpose of carrying out observations. The timer's controls are not unduly sophisticated, and the display is simple enough to see without any difficulty. The ability to select feeding durations and frequency without having to juggle any complicated menus or instructions is something that I really appreciate. It was a little bit tough for me to insert the battery while making sure that all of the connections were aligned correctly since the compartment makes me feel like it is a little bit tight. In order to get everything seated properly, it took me a few attempts. In spite of this, the power supply performed well once it was operational. In addition, I saw that there is a port for solar panels, which may be useful in the event that you want to prolong the life of the battery or minimize the number of maintenance checks that are required. This function struck me as forward-thinking, particularly for those individuals who reside in distant places and want to visit their feeders less often.

Hmm ! Bought one on July 29th. Lasted a little more than a month. Changed batteries nothing, reconfigured batteries, nothing. Haven’t tried to contact seller yet, but here I go. Wish me luck on a replacement. Worked great until it didn’t!!

The media could not be loaded. Set this up at our hunting property about 3 weeks ago and im impressed with how well it works for the price! Installation was straightforward - just drilled a hole in the bottom of a 5-gallon bucket I had laying around, adjusted the mounting arms to fit, and secured it with the included hardware. The whole setup took maybe 15 minutes. The digital timer is surprisingly sophisticated for such a compact unit - being able to program 8 different feeding times is perfect for varying the schedule to keep deer patterns natural. Started with short 2-second feeds three times daily and gradually increased as deer discovered it. The spinner throws feed in about a 15-foot circle which is perfect for our clearing size. Battery life has been decent so far - still running strong on the first set of AAs after three weeks of regular use. The construction feels sturdy enough to withstand outdoor conditions - we've had several rainstorms and it hasn't shown any issues with water damage. One thing to note is that the battery compartment screw is a bit finicky and easy to strip if you're not careful. Also wish it came with a weather-resistant cover for the timer display as I'm concerned about long-term exposure. The adjustable speed settings are useful - found that medium works best for corn while high is better for smaller mixed feeds to get good distribution. Haven't tried connecting a solar panel yet but plan to add one soon to extend battery life through hunting season. Our trail camera has captured several deer using the feeding area regularly since installation which is exactly what we wanted. For the price, this is way more functional than I expected and definitely beats the cost of commercial pre-built feeders!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Works, easy to program. The bottom screws off as a cup and the batteries push up into the slot. My be problematic if it is hanging from a tree.

It works great. Fit on one of my old Moultrie Can feeders. Easy to program. Very satisfied with my purchase.

We adopted a deer on our small farm and this was purchased so we could have a scheduled feeding for that deer. Turns out that it also works to help feed goats, our ducks love it and now our chickens have decided to flock over to it. I am not getting ready to purchase a few more of these because our animals seem to like it. They have also figured out the timing of this because a few minutes before its set to go off, they tend to start all walking nearby and once it goes off, there's a feeding frenzy almost. We currently have this setup near our chickens and ducks area so none of the bigger animals can get to it and this has been working out great for them. Was really easy to setup and our animals love it. Buying more because this thing is amazing.

The programmer worked good but, it’s cheaply made. The insert that you screw into to hold the batteries in pulled out the very first time I screwed it in. The bottom cap that covers the program is supposed threaded but it just pops off. I know it will not hold up.

Cheap garbage, waited a week to long to try and install and find out how cheaply made it is. The battery compartment wont screw shut the motor is weak… Don’t buy if you have other options.!!!
