Italian Pecorino Romano Cheese D.O.P. - DeRoma Agri-in - 2lb to 2.5lb Approximately

Fast fresh delivery, not understanding the issue of quality from other review, this is a good fresh kilo of Romano that you cannot get at a local supermarket. I split it up in 4 PCs and vacuum seal. unless you’re ok with spending $7 for a 1/4 lb of who knows what quality I recommend this.

I got this because it is supposed to contain high amts of C:15, which I hope it true. It seems very salty. Is it the real thing?

This is great tasting pecorino romano. I have ordered it 19 times in the last 3 years. However, it used to be advertised as 2.5 lbs. I was shipped cheese that was only 2lbs and the seller gave me a partial refund. Then on my next order, I got 2 lbs again, but this time noticed that they had changed the description from 2lbs to "2 lb to 2.5lb approximately". This makes no sense because the price is the same whether they send you 2 lbs or 2.5 lbs. That's ridiculous. Basically they are making extra money by shaving off a 1/2 lb of cheese. I will not be ordering from the seller again. I'm done.

Why have photo of item if what you get is not the same? Wheel depicted but you get a slice, just say so. Also, says returnable but you can't

Very good cheese.

Upon receiving the package however it was pretty moist the end I cut off about 100grams because I didn't feel comfortable storing it as moist as it was. I live in Seattle and it ships from New York so I feel 2 ice packs was not sufficient for the distance. Regardless the cheese Is really good, their was almost like floral notes to it. Definitely a step above your standard locatelli for example.

This cheese is very salty but still has good flavor and would be good for shredding onto pasta.
