Great little mouse and ergonomic. Working well with a dvr security system for remote access through a wall. Setup is instant once usb is inserted. Would recommend especially based on current price paid ( under£9.50). Cannot fault this economically sound device and the dpi setting is very good and easy to use.

A good value purchase. I had previously used a UGREEN wireless mouse that, after 5 years of daily use at work had given up the ghost. I needed a quick replacement and so I turned to Amazon.Price: As expected the pricing was very good.Quality: It is not as good as my UGREEN mouse in terms of the overall feel but it is a solid choice and I think at this price it is as good as you could reasonably expect.The scroll wheel is good, just enough weight when scrolling so as to avoid that cheap mouse feel.Functions: I have been able to move around a room using the scroll wheel and the connectivity is not an issue. Connectivity has never been an issue, I turn the mouse on and it connects near enough instantly.DPI adjustment is fine and I have had no issue finding the correct one for be.In terms of battery life it is too early to say but should it turn out to be bad I will update this review.Why did I give it a 4* given it's price/performance? I think Amazon Basics sometimes trades off being 'as good as the other brands but for a lower price'. In this case my 4* are to show that it is good but if you are buying it because you think it is better than extremely similar styled mice by others then it isn't quite there.

Has a high quality feel to it, very easy to set up, is very comfortable to use, and smooth tracking. I just wanted a cheap mouse to use with my laptop as hate using the track pad, but was pleasantly surprised at how good this one is. Would recommend.

Great mouse. Does exactly what it says. I've had no issues connecting, it has a good sensitivity setting, and it's a great weight. I needed it for work, as a teacher, moving to different classrooms with my laptop and I didn't want anything wired and this was an excellent investment.

It's a basic mouse, just doing the job really good for every day scrolling, browsing. Definitely not for gaming. Works with Linux that why I bought.

I bought this Amazon Basics Ergonomic Wireless Mouse in September 2023. It’s now June 2025, and since yesterday the mouse has been completely non-functional. It won’t connect to any of my devices — I’ve tried both macOS and Windows machines. I replaced the battery with a brand-new one just to be sure — no change. The laser on the bottom lights up solid red, so it’s clearly getting power, but there’s zero response otherwise.I’ve tried everything: turning it off and on, holding the connect button for extended periods, testing it on multiple USB ports and machines. It’s just dead. The USB receiver seems to be fine physically, but nothing pairs or reacts.The mouse is only 1.5 years old — used approximately one-two hours a day, kept in good condition in a clean home office — and it’s already headed for the bin. I understand this was a budget model, but for an Amazon-branded product I expected at least basic reliability. This kind of premature failure is not acceptable.Amazon should stand behind its own brand with better quality control. I’m upset and dissatisfied. Sometimes you do get what you pay for — but in this case, I got less.
